Project overview

As the sole designer on the product team for Australia, I was tasked with absorbing all the functionality of Australia’s app and adapting it into the architecture and design of North America’s version.

While some user journeys required a simple re-skin, many were complete outliers, necessitating full overhauls where new patterns had to be created from scratch.

This included features such as:

  • Onboarding

  • Subscriptions

  • Dealership portal

  • Fuel rewards scheme

To achieve this, I conducted a full structural mapping of the existing app, a comprehensive usability audit, and a competitive analysis, all while maintaining ongoing stakeholder communication. I also led unmoderated remote user testing to gather unbiased insights at scale.

Alongside structural and usability improvements, I refined the interface design, tweaking and expanding the design system where necessary, and ensuring a level of finesse in the overall user experience.
